My parents don’t know I’m Asexual. I’m not sure how to tell them. When I told my parents I’d made out with a girl, they got really angry saying that

“No daughter of hers would be a lesbian” .

In truth I was was just trying to find out why I didnt feel any sexual desire toward my fiance, but that didn’t matter. You have to understand that they were raised and still are very conservative. and they know a few lesbians and are super nice to them, but they don’t want their children being lesbians. (Logic out the window)

In my opinion, I don’t think that being asexual would be “as bad” as being lesbian in their mind (No, I DO NOT think being gay/les/bi is wrong; I’m a supporter of GLBQTA rights), but Idk since my mother has always told me that I am going to marry a man and have 2 children.

I just don’t know how to tell them without making them angry. UGH! maybe I should wait til forever when they ask my why aren’t I married/dating anyone?
